The Hutchinson Weigand office has a rich history in real estate. Starting with the individual practices of Terry Messing and John Oswald, the office has evolved to include real estate agents practicing in residential, commercial, farm, ranch and auction.Terry Messing, acting Broker for the office, received his Kansas Real Estate License in 1954 and achieved Emeritus Status in 2005. Terry is a World War II veteran and Prisoner of War. Terry has owned, bought and sold real estate since returning from the war. Our past broker, John Oswald dedicated his life to real estate, with over 50 years as a licensed Realtor. Oswald Real Estate merged with J.P. Weigand in 2000 with John continuing to serve as Broker for several years. John passed away in 2012. His daughter Patsy Lovett continues the family tradition and has been Hutchinson’s Top Residential Realtor since 2011. Paul Nisly heads up our auction division and will celebrate 40 years of auction business in 2014. Lee Kelly joined Weigand’s in 2000 after a career with Dillon’s Real Estate Company. Josie Thompson, our Branch Manager, has been licensed for 15 years with experience in Corporate Real Estate and national account management and continues to specialize in commercial real estate. Together, our 15 Realtors bring decades of experience and knowledge to the Hutchinson market in all areas of real estate.
